A RAINY SKY

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

The weary eyes
Of a rainy sky
Starlight tears
That fall fron high
The silent moon
Observant as such
Watches with
A dreamy lust.

The moving cloud
Like candles flame
Flicker in
The steady rain
Each a shadow
Cast upon
The idle dreams
That life began.

The gentle breeze
Its fingers caress
A deeper yearning
Hopes  it kept
For rainbows clouded
In a dreaming eye
The beauty of
A rainy sky.

Don't wait for that bus when there's a rainy sky. Did they knock down the shelter cos they thought the bus would never arrive?! lol.

Norman, this is beautiful…there’s a softness here that just settles in. It feels calm but not empty…like a quiet moment that still holds emotion underneath. Really peaceful read. Well done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
