As soon as the music starts
I can see these Norse warriors
Thundering through the air
On their flying steeds.
Brunnhilde in the lead,
Trying to save her beloved Siegmund.
The music so profound,
So emotive.
No other images are quite so strong.
The strength of music
To be able to cast images in your mind
Is a joy to behold.
This wonder becomes more powerful
Each day of my life.

Good write Gold.
Thanks Orchi.
Wagner wrote some wonderful pieces and the ride of the Valkyries one of his best. You are so right Andy music has a power to change moods and mental images it pulses through the veins of man. Well written my friend
So very true soren, I have all Wagner's operas on CDs. Music has always been part of my life and always will be.

Fine work! Love the word emotive.
Thank you Katie, much appreciated.

Epic and immersive—music here becomes pure cinema, summoning myth and motion in the mind’s eye.
The grit is in that awe: the steady, lifelong surrender to something larger than thought.
Thank you Thomas, yes music is certainly larger than thought.
