What is jazz people ask,
Jazz comes from the heart
And it comes from the mind.
A tune comes into your head
And the notes are played,
Played by any instrument.
The notes are then changed,
Changed into others,
Others that come to you.
The tune then alters
And can become unknown,
But the notes are there,
There within the mind
And played for all.
So in jazz there are no wrong notes,
Each note is the one,
The one you wanted to play,
To play at that time.
And that is why jazz is great
As every piece played is different,
So jazz is unique.

You are most welcome Andy
That's a start anyway - Thanks Andy. Here however are you not talking about improvised Jazz ?
Thanks Dave, jazz is improvised when it is in its finest form, I have heard so many jazz musicians and the finest are those who improvise and don't need music.
Andy
Thanks Guv - I'll bear that in mindπ
