I moved leaving everything behind, taking only smoke visions and dreams
A conscience soothed into a new world blind, where nothing is what it seems
Lighter than air the burden I bear, skies free of dark clouds
Striped bare I wander there in the lee of any crowds

Most beautiful, to be freed to wander without a care in the world, I did this once iny life and I'm still on that cloud! 🌹
Thank you Teddy for the read and comment it is as always appreciated. We all must make that journey at some point
Nicely written. Your poem revolves around the act of moving on from one’s past, leaving behind physical possessions and emotional baggage. It touches upon themes of transformation, self-discovery, and the contrast between reality and illusion.
Thank you my friend for your review and interpretation it is most appreciated and covers well the intent.
A fascinating journey of letting go and escaping the binds of life. A very strong message of hope here.Well done
Thanks so much David for the review and most kind supportive words of encouragement. They are deeply appreciated my friend
There is an immediate benefit from escaping one’s past and inner conflict thereby creating a sense of real lightness, but it may also lead to disconnection, unreality, and a loss of grounded identity. It appears that it never is a win-win 🕊️🙏
