Shhhh…
listen to the ink drip…
listen to the waves lift…
Welcome to the land where the wolf walks on water,
and the water remembers what the mind can’t hold.
Breathe…
We’re home.
---
They told me,
“Pick an element.”
I smiled and said,
“I’m water, my friend —
and I move like an elephant,
soft with the world,
but heavy when I land.”
I don’t go backwards,
I only go forward.
Stagnation’s a grave,
creation’s my sword.
I sit in the moment but never stay stuck —
I manifest motion,
I overflow luck.
Lost the rhyme?
Never a crime.
I walk the beat of my own divine time.
Let the beat breathe,
let the pain ease…
let the ink rise up
from the deep-sea freeze.
---
You can do anything you want to do—
just hold the belief and hold it true.
Feel what’s raw, feel what’s real,
feel the spirit rising up your heels.
We were made to breathe, we were made to expand—
now come with me over the Inkadelic land.
Come with me over the Inkadelic land.
I’m a wolf in the wild with a pen in my jaw,
dropping truth from the sky like a meteor roar.
I dip in, dip out,
never tied to the crowd—
I’m the whisper in the forest
and the thunder in the cloud.
Quotes fly by like dust in the breeze—
Bruce Lee, Einstein, saints, melodies…
But the ink I spill?
That’s spirit-born.
That’s wolf-water wisdom
where legends are formed.
I don’t store moonlight —
I stand where it hits
and I drip it into lines
till the universe shifts.
---
You can do anything you want to do—
just hold the belief and hold it true.
Feel what’s raw, feel what’s real,
feel the spirit rising up your heels.
We were made to breathe, we were made to expand—
now come with me over the Inkadelic land.
Come with me over the Inkadelic land.
---
The ink remembers what I can’t hold…
so I let it unfold…
and unfold…
and unfold…
Wolf walks.
Water flows.
Dan grows.
Fade.

- Comment from author about the poem: After a lifetime of writing poetry and music from my head. I've begun turning them all into tracks with the help of ai. One day I'll redo them all with my own voice and instruments but for now this is what I do and love getting my art to have a voice. It feels amazing to do! Always appreciate your time! Love what you do! Do what you love.

Dan, this really struck me…the way it moves with that constant flow, like something being carried rather than constructed. That idea of ink holding what the mind can’t stays with me…because it feels true. There’s a real sense of movement and growth throughout. Powerful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
My other line is the ink remembers what we forget but I'm truly grateful for your time and energy my friend.
Keep up the write
Your words are powerful, I hear you as an artist myself; you are strong, just remember that, my friend. Your poem explores themes of self-discovery, creativity, and the fluidity of existence. It emphasizes the connection between nature, personal growth, and artistic expression. The imagery of water symbolizes adaptability and the flow of life, while the wolf represents strength, intuition, and the wild spirit of creativity.
Well I do pride myself on being like no other dog behaviourist. It's not a job, its a way of life. I never forget my power but the weight of this world and the cost can be heavy. I treasure every word you give, thank you for your time. Keep up the write
An excellent journey with so great a promising destination 🕊️🙏
