I Listen

Katie B.

This song sings itself

Wrapped in a melody that lowers the lights

Music fills each crevice, walls swell

It’s rhythm breezy like the southern wind

It lays back its head with a gentle sigh

Vocals can do no wrong

Resonance is palpable

A tempered beat

Reminiscent of a late stroll

I listen

This song sings itself

As we walk we often sing to ourselves, something privative but comforting, a beat for the feet and solace to greet. Nicely written
