I thought, you would say: "Farewell,"
But instead you said: "See you later."
Why? To wound me such deeplyer,
Or to sweeten my sorrow veil?
For a long, you lectured me ethics,
Indignation permeated your teach.
I listened to the murmuring of your speech,
Yet much of it I did not understand nix.
Why you cast that ruthless reproach
In your utter words—so stern, so severe—
That I have known so many loves ever.
It is true, yet I myself am an alone beach.
I dreamed so much of finding you
Across life's vast and open meadow;
You could have been my dearest friend now,
But our paths diverged in few…

This seems a sad poem of parting. Well done
Your words carry a quiet sadness, especially the ending part. Really emotional piece.
A sad reflection on missed connection and emotional distance.
