It's good for riding in the snow,
or on the rough terrain;
a good truck to have,
for when we live out on the open plains.
Some days you will take the Nova.
Some days you will take the truck.
Either way, with it's wide rugged tires,
I know it'll never get stuck.
With a wide bed for the dogs,
or for whatever else can fit,
As long as it holds the two of us,
it doesn't need to be that big.
Black Chevy Colorado? I’ve little knowledge. Guess I should’ve taken the old aged advice of “you should go to college.” I’m sure having a four wheel drive truck certainly is best. Especially when old man winter 🥶 puts you to the test. The dogs will enjoy the ride of this too I am sure; isn’t that the whole reason as to what a truck is for?
We can make a bed in the back and sleep under the big Montana sky,
And watch the stars shimmer and see the meteors go by,
We can keep warm in the back of the black Chevy Colorado on our nights exploring the terrain,
And we can rush to the can laughing when sky downpours rain ,
We can watch the sunsets as we talk about the past,
I know that always the memories of our journey will absolutely outlast,
They will live on after our last breath taken ,
Our Black Chevy Colorado will keep the secrets we whispered during our love maken
I will always love our Nova and Colorado life ,
Especially when we’re husband and wife
Our Chevy Nova and Colorado life...
That sums us up perfect,
as husband and wife.
Whether in drive,
or whether in park;
front or back, under the stars,
it's intimacy after dark.
It will be our Chevy Colorado.
Sometimes it will be just us,
and sometimes our dogs go.
... but no matter what,
it will always be you and me,
and even though,
we'll outlast the truck together,
we'll still make great memories.
With mud on the tires and love in our hearts
Whether rocky path or smooth, we'll have more than art
Could ever image in its language,
Love beyond mere words and lofty sages
In sunny hours and rainy streets
Together there's nothing we cannot beat
Put on the station which lilts our favorite strains
And together we shall sing 'neath blue skies or rain.
Black Chevy Colorado, rugged and bold, you carry me far on the open road. Through dust and adventure, your engine roars strong, my faithful companion, where we both belong.
