Five minutes to Midnight.
Five minutes to Midnight.
The stars are alight.
The moon is as large as it has ever been,
When I see it reflecting inside your beautiful eyes.
Time is but a second,
On which you can depend.
We are eternally beckoned,
To find love again.
I want you as my woman.
My girlfriend.
My best friend.
I think about you,
Again and again and again.
If you don’t love me,
Then here is a gun.
Shoot my love into a thousand shattered pieces,
And sign we are through, we are done!
I will be done.
Love’s tombstone will be carved.
Give me good loving or throw away my heart,
With yesterday’s papers.
Go tell the neighbours,
There is a vacant home here,
And I will simply disappear.
A minute after midnight,
I don’t want to see another year.

A most desperate love pledge under the stars. Well done
