In our lives we may give a small act,
A small act of kindness,
Kindness to a person we may not know
But it may touch that person’s life
And bring a little joy to them
Enabling them to move on,
Move on to a better life,
And maybe touch others
To bring them joy as well.
So that small act of kindness
May start a ripple effect
And bring joy and love to many.
So remember,
Remember to perform,
Perform those small acts,
Those small acts of kindness
As they will help many.

Yes, and they can help more when we, or the person we are helping (or both) may be feeling emotional, more sensitive, wobbly, etc. But also can be appreciated when we're feeling more cosy, comfortable, at ease, etc.
Very true Orchi, those small kind actions can help many times.

I could not agree more Andy this is a wonderful message that too many ignore or forget. There have been several people in my life that have done this for me and made a huge difference. Very nicely said
Thank you for your kind words soren, much appreciated,

Yes Rik, let kindness reign.

I can relate to this poem. I have in the past done just that. My neighbor had lost his wife and on Christmas Eve, I invited him to come a have dinner with my family. He appreciated it, and we enjoyed getting to know. No one should spend the holidays alone. Another time I gave the school crossing guard flowers. She cried and hugged me and said it had been ages since someone did something kind for her. So yes, I believe in doing random acts of kindness because they do make a difference in their lives and mine.
Such wonderful things to do Jeannie, I too help people in many ways and it helps all. Thank you for your words.
