Proud to have been born
in a generation
of which
it was perfectly acceptable
to have different views on politics
where freedom of speech and a healthy conversation
were welcomed in pubs on sofa's and on the bus
it’s the politicians of today that are dangerous and
completely and utterly unacceptable.

Teddy this is a wonderful piece that I can hear my parents saying some seventy years ago. It is interesting how though things change they remain the same. I imagine that they were saying the same thing in Nazi Germany. We the people are the ones that elected our leaders it seems that we never learn but then what can be done with a magicians choice. Very nice Teddy loved it.

You are most welcome Teddy I could not agree more it requires earlier involvement than elections it is all about getting the right people to run.
Totally, the standard of politician today is so bad that just being a politician should bar them from being one.
I reckon that if you mixed the politicians in the commons into a potion, you still couldn't get a full half-wit.
So sad to see and to live through, even though I don't live in my beloved London I still watch the news everyday. World Politics is broken Paul, but I did chuckle at your lines, Farage & Johnson & Trump well that's the world today 😢 thanks friend. 🌹
