Always exercising or out doing something,
Today, for once, I want to do absolutely nothing.
Sort out some stuff and chillout in the house,
Remaining to myself, quiet as a small mouse.
A day inside, nobody is bothering me in the slightest,
Hearing rain on the glass window, think I like this.

A write of taking a break and mental or physical it is a pause wanted and needed. Well felt in this poem
Appreciate it.
You are most welcome Shaun
Yes, but we are never alone.
Very true.
Shaun, this speaks to me. We spend so much time being productive, social, busy, or available that an unplanned quiet day can feel almost rebellious. I completely understand the appeal of simply staying in and listening to the rain. Wonderful write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks pal, the rain wouldn't stop so I stayed put lol.
Good write SM.
