Got up this morning, woke properly at 7:10,
Guess God gave me another day on this Earth then.
Rainfall has stopped finally and it's about damn time,
I don't usually say damn but it fit nice with the rhyme.
No breakfast on the menu, want to do some fasting,
Hay fever and watery eyes, took a tab so it's not lasting.
Walking outside for some exercise, back the gym tomorrow,
Cheese and onion pasties for tea, my stomach feels no sorrow.

Good write SM. Another day for ET too? Did he go home or not?! lol.
Lol, he phoned home.
A poem of no regret love that damn fit the rhyme. Well done you made me smile
Thank you.
Shaun, what a charming piece. It captures the simple rhythm of a day well lived...gratitude, a little humor, looking after yourself, and enjoying life's small comforts. The whole thing feels honest and unpretentious, which is exactly why it works so well. Great job on this, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks pal.
