Did, does, could.
Got an old love I want, who I can never have.
A new love I want, but I don’t know about that.
A long time love I have never asked,
And a world of possibilities...
Life ain’t too bad.
One did love me.
One does love me.
One could love me.

Clever in wording and with such good flow this one is most thought provoking. The last lines I interpret as one did love me being a lost love, one does love me being love of oneself, one could love me all future possibilities. Well penned
Thanks for reading my poetry as always, but the truth is
"One did love me" - Woman I loved in my past but she's no longer in my life.
"One does love me" - Woman I like now but it's complicated.
"One could love me" - Woman I could get with in the future, but its all a complete unknown.
You are most welcome sorry I did not hit the mark but it was a thought.
No need to apoligise. I love when people give me their interpretation of the poem.
