Do what thou wilt.

Aa Harvey

Do what thou wilt.

I never said I want to be the best,

To drip into your head;

But if I could write some poetry that you would never forget,

And not be a fly-by poster,

A picture on the wall,

A graffiti artist hiding away and fighting against the world,

Then maybe somehow I could make you love me.

Do you love me? I need some empathy.

He’s a one-man army in his own mind.

I want to be all I can be in this world so full of mines.

All I am is a guy who knows how to write poetry,

So that is what I do do.

I’m just here hoping to reach out to you,

With a peace flag flying,

Saying “Howdi-do!”

I want to make a change in the words that I find.

I will do all that I can do to write a good rhyme.

Be the change you want to see in yourself.

Rise up out of the dust of a nuclear shell.

Create your own creation after a life changing explosion.

At least you will be doing your will.

Advice in a poetic version of doing what is best for oneself. Speak out and be true to oneself with no fear of being who you are. Well written
