Oh no! Can't change it!

I'm talking about the Longest Day

Soon to be in the UK

For those of you in Australia 

Or elsewhere in the Southern Hemisphere - 

One of us is living upside down!

 

I'm a gloom and doon merchant

I'll ruin your day

I'll say stuff like:

'Cheer up, the nights will be drawing in again now'

Can't change it!

And - only 6 months to Ch................

Can't say the word until December

Or they'll shoot me!

Any why does Carol only appear at Ch............

And what's her surname?

 

But why the Longest Day?

It's got 24 hours - same as any other day

And so has the Shortest Day

I of course can't work this out

Only having 3 brain cells!

 

I best ask Fido these things

Cos he knows 99%

Of all there is to know

That's 98% more than I know!

LOL

 

I thought the song was:

'I, I who know nothing'

But it seems to be:

'I who HAVE nothing'

So I been singing it wrong all these years

Fido says 'Its bad enough

That YOU been singing it at all!'

Heehee.

            Somewhere it’s been put forward that the South Pole is really on top but that’s too hard to imagine that all our maps are upside down. 🙃

              Orchi, I was following along until the three brain cells. Then Popeyeus Glug Maximus Solus appeared carrying two additional brain cells in a wheelbarrow and immediately lost both of them in Australia, which was inconvenient because it was upside down at the time. Fortunately Fido still knew 99% of everything, including Carol's surname, but he refuses to tell anyone until Ch............ 🤣🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
