Home Alone

FrasMac

Home Alone

“I am the saddest man in the house,”

said the happiest man in the house,

to the most handsome man in the house,

who also happened to be the ugliest.

“I am the weakest man in the house,”

said the strongest,

“I’m the hungriest, the thirstiest, the most tired.”

“I’m certainly the most dissatisfied,”

said the man most fulfilled,

but was blind and leading blind men

in crazy circles around his palace.

On they went together,

observing cracks in the paving,

dirt in the flower beds,

spots on leaves and weeds in the pond,

and the unripe fruit that kept falling.

He must be the only man in the house. A good write where no one ever seems to be content.

self portrait of a man approaching retirement, whose kids are all grown up and living their own lives, and who is indeed, the only submissive man in the gaff. Thank you for joining in!

It does appear to be a closed loop and dismal circuit, the man that is an island. Proper reading today, for which much pleasure is derived. Have an excellent weekend!🕊️🙏
