What is it about Status Quo
That makes me smile
And really cheers me up?
As soon as I hear them
A smile comes to my face,
And my mood is lifted.
My feet start tapping,
My head starts nodding,
My body starts swaying.
Status Quo,
My recommended medication.
I know their music is not great
Compared to the music
Of the classics and jazz,
The music that is in my soul,
But they make my world feel better.
Status Quo.

Thanks Orchi.
One or more of them was in Coronation Street, but one played a nasty character unfortunately. Corrie was good in the olden days, a few million years ago. lol
Thed last time I saw Corrie Ena Sharples was in it. LOL

Yes lol. Some older episodes are better than more recent ones. And - you see Minnie Caldwell's cat?! lol.
I know exactly what you mean, not my favourite but difficult not to tap your foot
Thank you Norman, yes that foot will alway tap.

There is a big difference between great and enjoyable but I'll take the latter much of the time. A good read Andy

Keep Prog-Rock . Where pretentious Songs last two days. Let's have some 'Caroline', 'Down Down' etc.
It is still there Kevin and will always be remembered.

the old tunes were always more melodious and appealing - these days its sometimes just a lot of loud noise...
So very true Nafisa, thank you.
