Tune: Regent Square
('Fill your hearts with joy and gladness')
Psalm 68 parts
********
Let God arise, let enemies
Be scattered as each Him sees
Let those that hate Him flee before
Him, and so they be gone sure
As the smoke is driven away
So let them be gone this day
O God, when you did go before
Your people, led them out sure
From wilderness to promised land
Guided them by your good hand
Then the earth shook, heavens dropped rain
They sensed your presence again
Sing to God, you kingdoms of earth
Praise Him and give Him His worth
He that upon the heavens rides
None compares to Him besides
He sent out His voice, it mighty
heard by all, for strong it be
Ascribe you strength unto God here
He excellent, and He near
His strength is in the clouds, holy
He be awesome, reigns freely
To His people strength He them gives
And power, He ever lives

I think I'm going daft for it seems that I already read one of your hymns today but it must have been yesterday and it was your comment I read. Really Orchi I think I'm getting too old. This one is a marvelous hymn of praise and it seems old testament and quite Jewish or should I say Israelite. Nicely done my friend.
