Fire and water, air and earth we were all one before our birth then return to dust
Poles of a loadstone, positive, negative a direction shown that we must trust
I north you south, different words in wind from nature's mouth at center we meet
Hydrogen, oxygen together, lightnings spark, rain drops, stormy weather cold and heat
One another we repel, chemical bonds held together in the same shell chafe
Enemy and lover in one form, through all time a resurrecting storm that's safe
Race of creation, religion or nation, all men and women are made as one
Whether plant, animal or man since time began, all life equal under the sun
We are all waves that nature saves in her constant recirculation
As the living turn to dust and steel becomes rust all subject to regeneration

Got it in one.
Doesn't nature do a great job, giving us life for a time, and replacing us when our time is up.
Thank you Paul for the review and comment. Yes we are recycled nothing lost all contained within the cycle. Your words are most appreciated
Well-done, beautifully penned, with reserved emotions and reverberating ideas...
Thanks so much Cellinic for the read and comment it is most appreciated and valued
If you put the first and last lines together, βFire and water, air and earth we were all one before our birth then return to dust β¦ As the living turn to dust and steel becomes rust all subject to regeneration,β then you arrive at the conclusion that nothing exists in isolation and that all life is part of nature's ongoing process of renewal.
An excellent observation Soheil and most appreciated as is your read and kind support.
Thank you so much for your kind words.
Nothing is lost .Everything is transformed .We are all part of the carbon cycle .
That is it friend or foe, in all our diversity and opposites we return to one. Thanks my friend

My Pleasure.
Soren, what a thoughtful piece. I especially loved the metaphors throughout...the opposing poles, the meeting at the center, and especially "We are all waves that nature saves." They give the poem a beautiful sense that we're all part of something far greater than ourselves. Really enjoyed this, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈ
