Somehow
If somehow we get to touch down,
I’m going to tell you how I really feel.
Somehow before we crash,
Let’s make a pact.
I need your autograph,
On this white paper pad.
Right now before it’s too late,
Let’s make a date.
Maybe the first of March (It’s a Saturday.)
I could love you, if I told you that.
We’ve got to make it through the impact.
I’ll be here to hold your sick bag.
You need to tighten your seatbelt.
It’s looking a little slack.
If you’re sad, I’ll keep you safe.
I’ll protect your from the Mad Men,
With the hand grenades,
Because I love you in so many ways.
Many time I’ve tried so hard to say.
This plane is in a nose dive,
And I want to take you to the country,
For a little drive,
And if it’s alright, I’ll hold you tight.
I want to love you until there’s no more light,
Shining from your eyes.
If you say Ok, you know, somehow,
I think we’ll be alright.
First light to last night.
Formality time.
The signs say Ok.
I need your deed signed right away.
Here come the Last Rights,
On the final lines of the end time.
If we crash and burn,
I know they’ll be kind,
Because they’re your kind.
And you’re too nice.
I guess, somehow,
We could maybe survive,
And if we do I’ll marry you,
Somehow...day or night.
