A wild weed did breed with a flower that had escaped to the field
There its seed did feed off the hard ground and what it did yield
The petals she wore the wind tore leaving nothing more than a leaf
Dreams fell from rent seams of a pod's shell, as she bowed her head in grief
Seeds half flower half weed, drops that did bleed over dry ground
A mother's blood bled over field is spread, mother nature in color gowned
An artist's brush did rush to capture on earth's canvas beauty fleeting
Where domestic mild met with wild under a falling sun retreating

You as well my friend
My friend, I love the reminder that some of the most beautiful things happen where order and wildness meet. Nature has a way of ignoring the boundaries we try to give it. Wonderful read. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬

Painting a fleeting, bittersweet portrait of a hybrid bloom bowing to the elements under a twilight sky. Great work Sorren!
