Do the things we say and do
bring curses on our heads?
Can we not choose better things
and then be blessed instead?
We have free will to pick a path
to the right or to the left;
we can receive the bounty
or leave ourselves bereft.
Every night and every morn
we get to choose and see
what Yahweh either gives or takes
to others, you and me.

Viewing blessings from a religious point of view and how they should motivate. Well written
Fränz, what a thoughtful poem. "Every night and every morn / we get to choose" especially resonated with me. I like that it keeps the focus on personal responsibility while also holding onto the hope that each day offers a fresh beginning. Really enjoyed this, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Your poem beautifully highlights the profound power of free will, reminding us that our daily choices shape our destinies and invite either divine blessings or curses dear poet!
