Gone are those days
When worry was a stranger,
No tears, no pain,
No haunting memories.
Life was worth living,
Love our guiding light,
And we waited for sunrise
Like it promised peace.
Will we ever feel that calm again?
Just like the good old days.
Are we?
Will we choose love and respect over money,
Or watch in silence
As corruption rules over good morals —
Just like the days of Sodom and Gomorrah?
Change happens, I know,
But it should be for good.
I just hope we find our peace,
Just like the good old days.

- Comment from author about the poem: This poem reflects on a time when life felt simpler, love was enough, and peace was natural. It contrasts that memory with the present, where corruption and moral decay threaten hope. Those Days is both nostalgia and a plea — a reminder that change should lead us back to goodness, not away from it.
