We often search for happiness
Looking in distant places,
But often it is waiting for us,
Waiting in places we hurry past,
Hurry past every day.
They may hide in a warm conversation,
It may be a peaceful morning
Or even a sincere smile.
We may find the quiet realisation,
That realisation that not every moment needs,
Needs to be extraordinary,
Sometimes the best moments arrive,
Arrive without making any noise.

most welcome
Much of what brings happiness goes unnoticed and receives no credit. A greater awareness of this and gratefulness may bring even greater happiness. Well written Andy
Very true soren, we need to be more aware of what is happening in our lives. Thank you for your comment.

I'll vote for the happiness to be found in silence - when anything else today is more often than not mindless crap.
So very true DAve, silence can bring peace to our hearts and minds.
