Once God shows you the truth there's no going back,
Lies upon lies we've been fed from a high stack.
Once God pushes you in his direction it's scary at first,
Put my cap on backwards and keep rollin' like Fred Durst.
Once God shows you the demons, how can you go back?
To chasing money and messed up girls, that's pretty wack.
Once God gives signs what you've been praying on,
The doubt and second guessing to yourself is gone.
Once God opens the door and stops your negative thoughts,
He removes people from your life who aren't on the same course.

A poem that speaks of God taking care of you. Nicely written with rhyme. Well done
Thank you.
Most welcome Shaun
You know Fred Durst? lol.
Of course lol.
He is FD, not, erm, Edward Thompson - geddit?! lol.
Not particularly interested in where the initial idea comes from, the effort is yours, so pat yourself on the back.
Thanks pal.
Shaun, this has a lot of conviction behind it. I appreciate the way you describe faith as something that changes your whole perspective rather than just one part of your life. Strong write, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Cheers very much.
