Each country's pride has been evident in the event. A clever senryu my poetic friend. Nicely done

The true winners for me are Norway, they were the best of the best and I just fell in love with them. Now we will play France for 3rd position in the world, that's not too shabby! Thank you my dear sorrenbarret ๐ŸŒน

Yes my maternal grandmother was born in Norway and a devout Viking she was making my Swedish uncle recite "A thousand Swedes ran through the weeds chased by one Norwegian A thousand Swedes lay dead in the weeds killed by one Norwegian" before she would grant him permission to wed my aunt. I was pulling for Norway as well. You are most welcome Teddy

Teddy, this is a fun little tribute. It captures both the disappointment of the tournament ending and the pride that remains regardless of the outcome. Nicely done, my friend. ๐ŸŒน๐Ÿ–ค๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ•ฏ๏ธ๐Ÿฆโ€โฌ›

I'm not a better fan, I fell in love with the England team and the Norway team, Trump tried to ruin it but his grubby hands couldn't touch the sheer size of love that the players showed. ๐Ÿ’œ

I agree Shirley. They done really well, beaten by the better team unfortunately. I was believing we could have done it this time.

Hello dear Syd, I was really sure too, they have such a warm spirit, never mind it's only a game, I hope England isn't too depressed today ๐Ÿด๓ ง๓ ข๓ ฅ๓ ฎ๓ ง๓ ฟ๐ŸŒนโšฝ๐Ÿป๐Ÿ†๐Ÿฆ

A whole segment of the globe not happy at all; their hopes are now pinned on Spain by force majeure.

                • Teddy.15

Thank you dear Arqios, it's been a great world cup. Apart from the trump red card saga England and Argentina have a rivalry on and off the pitch, I hope Spain win too, although the world has a new team to watch out for Norway, they stole my heart. ๐ŸŒน

Haha. Sure takes the mind off the Falklands and Exocets. ๐Ÿ‡ณ๐Ÿ‡ด

Cheers to the competitive spirit of all the teams who did their best but still did not make it to the finals ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ’…
