Vintage.
Music was born in 1960.
Anything before that is just classic TV.
Watching black and white films is not for me.
I live in a world of my own possibilities.
My eyes can intake multiple colours.
I cannot live in a bewitched script.
I know an old soul who is a little lonely.
She lives in a world that some would claim is vintage.

It is always interesting to me what people label vintage or classic. Young kids call anything before this year vintage and anything pre 2020 classic. As for me anything before 1960 is vintage and pre 1900 is classic. As for black and white movies they have some of the best 12 Angry men a first rate movie even by Rotten Tomatoes, Citizen Kane another good one. Nicely written
Thanks. This was inspired by someone saying they listen to Brenda Lee - Rocking around the christmas tree. So I listened to one of her songs and it sounds like every song before colour TV to me. To me music started with the hippies. Everything before that sounds like vera lynn during the war and I'm a pacifist. I wrote classic tv, because every stream service that says classic tv is black and white tv mostly so there's nothing there for me to watch. The poems called vintage, because people wear vintage clothes which are old. The only black and white movie I would watch is Schindler's List, which is a great movie, but the subject matter is too dark to watch, so I wouldn't even watch that now.
Peace, love and empathy.
I respect your opinion but black and white to me is print. Not many people read anymore and it is a shame for there are so many great works they are deprived of. Most movies steal their plots from old novels. Music often is a cover of old songs Kurt Cobane said his favorite artist was Leadbelly and one of his last performances and one of his greatest was Where did you sleep last night, after discovering his wife had had an affair. Freddy Mercury loved opera and just before he died performed with Monserrat Cabale a famous opera singer and his friend. The film 12 Angry men (black and white) is about justice and prejudice. I challenge you to watch it, it is a masterpiece of drama and filming as well as acting. To discount all that is old as not worth seeing would though out most of the world's fine art. No Mona Lisa, statue of David, Cristine Chapple the Rembrandts and even Van Goughs. Just my opinion
