A violent paradox

2781

Wickedness: the dark art: violence lurking in the heart

In my time it had its way; but not as it seems today?

Heads got kicked, and mouths got punched, mostly by a bunch of drunks!

Who never had a proper thought, just seen it as a type of sport.

Now the public are so polite  - sorry; thank you; you are right:

No one says boo to a goose!

But in the dark,  then on the loose!

The marking of an evil art: wickedness inside the heart.

Some have this proclivity while others are peaceful. The question being what makes a dark heart. Well written in good rhyme

A revealing peek that human behaviour presents us. 🙏🕊️

Believe there are elements (traditionalists?) who still go for the biff. However far too many keyboard warriors today exist and pound their key boards for perhaps even more devastating effect.
    Enjoyed the write.

Wow, my friend! This really exposes the difference between genuine goodness and mere social performance. Civilization may teach people to behave when observed...but character is revealed by what they permit themselves in secret. That truth lands hard. Outstanding poem, Valiantstar! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

So true. Today we live a world of fake lies
