savoury feast
( an epulaeryu )
A ladle lifts the broth’s
amber swirl as though some
ancient hearth were waking;
steam rises like heralds
calling us to gather,
to savour this
gold

A beautiful simplicity well expressed not overburdened
Yay! Thanks for the first comment, Norman. Most appreciated. Sometimes, simple and minimal is best. ππ»ποΈ

A lovely picture animated to call one most literal but to me metaphorical as well. I can smell it now.
Best of both worlds, as it has been said time and again. Thanks my dear friend ππ»ποΈ

What a lovely opening, my friend. The kitchen feels almost sacred here...heat, aroma, memory, and gathering all folding into one generous invitation. Beautifully crafted, Rik. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
