At the start you'll be praised
for every new sound and phase you use.
As time moves on, you'll find
this praise becomes more loose.
Slowly, you'll find those words
don't make as many smile like they once did,
until the praise becomes a reflection
that runs much deeper than you knew.
Waves of validation
suddenly mixed with battles of ego trips,
to be told those opinions once treasured
now create conflict.
Unmeasurable frequencies and energies
become a rhythm beneath the sea,
chaos rippling through the harmony,
hidden in a smile that says,
"Just let it be."
Life is a gift of tangled disbelief,
searching for a purpose in everything.
Change is inevitable—
sometimes it comes in a blink,
sometimes it feels like it isn't coming
until it hits.
The only option is to sink or swim,
learning who to let go
and who to let in.

- Comment from author about the poem: 22 years of being a dad and I'm not afraid to ever tell it as it. We are all pure love when the journey begins, the test is to keep it and not let the others in. I'm sorry to all 4 of my children for my darkness but at least you get to see how well you'll do at this.

A lovely poem about a dark road. The message gets the fave on this one my friend. A father of four as well I send my condolences to all for the darkness but also the blessing of light of life that balances the darkness.
