Imagine if you will

A path to a green hill,

Overlooking the sea

And a white sandy beach.

The sound of the sea,

Whispering gently

As the waves lap the shore.

This vast loneliness,

So quiet,

So serene.

 

The gulls,

Flying smoothly above the water,

Making no sound,

Just moving majestically

Over the waves,

Untroubled.

In peace with nature

And with life.

I was there,

Sitting quietly,

Enjoying the absolute wonder

Of this natural and awe inspiring world.
