A stab in the back straight through to the heart when love did crack and fidelity did depart
A bloody wail of betrayal on a dark gale did sail, listen to the winds rail
A knife of deceit plunges deep in the meat, so sweet the taste to cheat
Double crossed to the curb tossed

Oblivion passes and tosses these betrayals into the shredder of memory and they are recycled into poetry ...
Now Lorenz that is most poetic and thank you very much for the read and comment my friend
so very well put friend
Thank you so much for the review Norman and your kind words of support they are appreciated.
most welcome
Soren, this has some serious bite! The violence fits the emotional brutality of betrayal perfectly...especially that bitter sweetness given to the act of cheating itself. Short, vicious, and straight to the wound. Great job on this, my friend! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️
Thank you Tristan for the read and kind words of comment they are most important to me my friend
Hi Sorenbarret. Betrayal will certainly make you feel that way. Cleverly written with great rhyme and flow. Definitely a favourite of mine.
- Syd 🍄
Thank you so much Syd for the review and most generous words of encouragement it is most appreciated
KP back-stabs me metaphorically, so I do the same to her. lol. And she says to me:' How come you know such longs words as metaphoric-wotsit? lol.
Thanks so much Orchi I appreciate the review and comment yes for a change of fun do it allegorically.
The dark imagery and sharp language effectively convey the feeling of being deeply hurt and deceived.
Thank you so much Soheil for the read and kind words of comment my friend.
You are welcome.
You can feel the Anger running through this piece. Good Write.
Thank you Kevin for the review and comment it is most appreciated and valued.
My Pleasure.
In human stories a stab to the back has always been considered shocking, dishonorable. The victim does not get to see the blow coming. Thus, attacks in the back are frowned upon. It is an experience that the victim will long remember.
Thank you Soman for the read and for your understanding comment it is as always most appreciated.
Very emotive words soren (I think I go the name right this time) I sincerely hope all is well.
Andy
