autumn's small dark fruit
a bowl set in late sunlight
keeps the season whole

A poetic still life painting with metaphoric meaning (at least to me that sees metaphor in everything) the darkening of the season. Short but pregnant with meaning. A time of harvest.
Dark but still fruit and life sustaining. Thanks, Soren ππ»ποΈ
Always most welcome
Vivid and sharp.
Many thanks dear Thomas ππ»ποΈ
a perfect snap shot
Glad to hear. Thanks, dear Norman ππ»ποΈ
most welcome friend
A fine write A. Erm, what's that Y9 thingy? lol.
It was a big mistake, O. Q was out for a smoko. ποΈππ»
I thought you meant K9 the dog! lol.
So, it could be the feline in their majesty's service... ask Y and get 9 lives in reply... 007 has only got 2 left under his belt... or was it his holster?
It's the 'Late Sunlight' that speaks to me.
Of not wanting to let go. To keep the Autumn alive. Enjoyed.
Yup. Once we settle in, itβs almost always time to go again! ππ»ποΈ
Rik, this made me stop for a second and just look. Simple and damn near perfect. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Perhaps the Poconos has a mean autumn spread as well π π π

enjoy the fruits [of your labour?] - short and sweet haiku!
Yes~ Quite rightly so. Thanks Safina ππ»ποΈ
My favorite season, and not favorite at the same time!
I had that same thought... with Spring it's the pollen and other allergens that bug me... with autumn it's the dryness of the atmosphere. Can't have everything, I suppose.
Michio Kushi said that the quality of the blood plays a big role in allergies etc. To help with this you could try out "Earthing," the Wim Hof breathing method, and last but not least, the early morning sunlight.
(I hope I`m not giving you "unsolicited advice" here as I know that makes some folks explode in rage!)
Oh Iβve been doing earthing and the early morning light! But still hinting down the best blankie to lie on as Iβve got a bad allergy to grass.
