I'll follow you
In life with my entire soul and then...
when the time comes
and I'm no longer wearing my pink flesh
I'll seek you out
I'll be a river flowing up stream
down stream and in the rapids
of the most
adventurous waters
I'll follow you
as the magnificent Sun from east to west
I'll show you my love
at sunrise and at sunset
you'll get to know how much you mean to me
in life and in death
I'll follow you
as a light wind,
wandering amongst the roses and blooms
seeking you where ever you may be?
after all we are soulmates are we not?
I'll follow you
as the rain falling
to ground touching all that's there
leaving a soft mist
and then...
I'll chase you through the moonlight
and its every magical colour and shade
until the very moment you once again...
know that it's me.

Lovely a force as strong as nature and gravity a force of the universe that draws two together. Well written Teddy I loved it
Thank you dearest sorrenbarret ๐น
My pleasure
Hi Shirley, a year or two ago I read a book which my sister loaned me called Proof Of Heaven by Eben Alexander. In the book Eben has a a near death experience and writes about the overwhelming sense of love he experiences in the afterlife. Your poem reminded me of this book.
Great write.

Dearest Teddy, this speaks deeply to me. The thought that those we truly love might somehow remain connected to us beyond this physical existence is something I find profoundly beautifulโฆlove continuing in whatever form comes next. Wonderful piece, my friend. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ
