Criminal Mind
He plucks them from the shadows,
And drags them through the night.
He leaves them in their innocence,
And kisses them goodbye.
He moves as though he isn’t there.
He’s been watching them for days.
They think his type is blue eyes, blonde hair.
He’s practiced what to say.
He’s done this many times before.
He knows he will never stop.
He finds the light inside their minds,
And watches it leave each time they drop.
He’s never been a friendly soul.
He can’t make a friend.
He builds himself in iron and gold.
His armour for the end.
He knows he will not go quietly.
He will kick and scream and fight.
The hunters hunt his violent side,
Yet no fear lives in his eyes.
They search for his Modus Operandi.
He knows they search in vain.
His victims are so demanding.
Each and every time the words are the same.
