Sometimes
As if a dream
My mind returns
To Autumns scene
Hazel eyes
Long black hair
A gentle kiss
A loving stare.
Coconut skin
Smooth as silk
A night of music
Too much to drink
Hours melt
Light turned low
In minds return
To memorys show.
The lifted veil
Peels back time
To turn a page
Of drifting rhyme
A hazy vision
Retreating warmth
That stamped its mark
Through a storm.
