Fighting in the shopping centre.

Aa Harvey

Fighting in the shopping centre.

Contestants...ready!

Hand bag...ready!

Walking stick...ready!

In the blue corner. The lady of words.

In the red corner. Him and Her.

Ready to fight for the slightest of slights.

This is just a little insight.

People are awful on a daily basis.

Random people with random faces.

Random has been highjacked,

By the wasted.

I cannot agree with Mimi’s meme’s.

They drink their Jim Beam as soon as they get home.

They go to war because they’re on their phone.

They live in a world I don’t want to know.

Pleasures and simply the simplest of niceties,

Do not exist in this existence.

I see them all.  Sure I’ll bear witness,

To the atrocities I see in towns and cities.

Yes, a trip to the shops is like going to war now.
Actually, going to war is probably safer, they give you a rifle.

As a pacifist I just stand there and watch the world explode. Keep your guns, they do not save. People are awful. I see it everyday. But you are wonderful for taking the time to read my poem, so thank you.

Too many rats in a cage. Nicely written

Everyday life is turning into a cage fight. And nobody wins in the end.
