When tomorrow
Seemed too faraway
A moment frozen
Words left to say
Tall it stands
The bitter rage
The battered love
A burning page.
Emotion with
A strangle hold
Reflected sorrow
Years untold
That drifted
Upon each wave
A sentence which
Could not be saved.
Each scrap of paper
Like idle lies
Formed tears
In weary eyes
The moment now
Lost to time
A closing curtain
Thought divine.

This poem could have many interpretations but the first that came to my mind was something written that left a burning impression, whether misinterpreted or whether the message was meant it burned. Nicely written
