If upon
A tomorrow fair
In your mirror
Fixing your hair
Early morning
Arrives free of cloud
The birdsong
A beautiful sound.
Think of me
Though I have gone
Yet still by your side
You are the one
And good times will
Return one day
Words to echo
Words that say.
See me in
The falling rain
In the gentle
Turning wave
Do not grieve
Nor to fear
A gentle whisper
To your ear.

Beautiful words beautiful rhyme 🌹
most kind, thanking you much appreciated
I love the sentiment of this one Norman it is romantic in a tragic way with death but not forgetting seen the deceased in nature itself. Quite and melancholic but reassuring. Well composed with good rhyme and flow. A fave my friend
very kind, thanks and appreciation
My pleasure
Love the rhyming and flow, friend 🙏🏻🕊️
thanks and appreciation my friend
There’s a damn tender farewell here, with the morning birdsong, rain, and waves becoming ways for the departed to remain present without asking the living to stop living. The ending is gentle rather than sentimental—the whisper in the ear feels like love saying, I’m still with you, but don’t be afraid.
thanking you, much appreciated
So you've disappeared waiting for that bus, and have become a whisper?! lol.
The whispering, " What time is no 7 due ?" lol
Beautifully written Norman.
I can detect a little sadness in this but it's certainly not bleak. Awesome rhyme as always.

Beautiful!
most kind, thanking you much appreciated
What a touching poem, my friend. Grief is here, but love has the stronger voice…continuing quietly through memory and the world around us rather than disappearing with death. Really beautiful, Norman. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
thanks and appreciation as always my friend
Such beautiful emotive words Norman.
