It started with the count to ten
And all your pals go hide and then
You look up and take a gamble
Where to start the searching ramble
Then the finding and the scramble
To be the first to reach the jail
Then on again with the travail
Till all the boys found to a man
Except if one did kick the can
Then you lose and count to ten
And off you go to search again.
