I followed you mum down the stair
Like my siblings unaware

There are tragedies hard for the average person to understand. Why a mother would kill her children but then like other things we don't understand all things have their causes and far be it to me to judge. I have known men that have killed infants and young children and they have very troubled minds, some pathetic and others not knowing what they are doing. Very well written it is haunting and chilling as well as heart rending.
What a devastating poem, Jabberwocky. The innocence of the children, the trust they still carry, and the sheer betrayal at the center of it all make this brutally hard to read...and that is exactly why it lands so deeply. Haunting work, my friend. Yeah, no dry eyes here. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛

You seem to hear about this more and more, and you always hope they get hung if they're not insane.
Yes, it's about the Clancey case. It broke my heart and I felt moved to write about it. I have five kids, and can't grasp the unspeakable horror of it all.
Such an emotive write Gary, the passing of children is so horrendous in any way they pass.
