My words were
Fragile and unspoken
In the mist
Of my soul
The coldness
Of existence
Tears silent
Frozen old.
In dreams I walked
A crooked path
Strangers faces
In the crowd
Brushing gently
At the shoulders
Mouths moving
Without sound.
Different rooms
Uncertain doors
Silent footfalls
Eerie calls
From distant places
Branches low
Fragile unspoken
You must know.

This poem had a peculiar effect upon me the more I read it the more dreamlike it became and the more haunting. Nicely done my friend a fave

Good write N. You said unspoken and unspeakable word waiting for that bus?! lol
Norman, this carries such a cold and dreamlike loneliness. The speaker keeps moving through people and places yet never truly connects...leaving everything suspended between expression and isolation. Powerful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
thanks and appreciation my friend
Fine words Norman, we all have those unspoken words within us that take us to places unknown.
Andy
thanks and appreciation
