THE CANDLES FLAME

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

I see you now
In candles flame
Flickering beauty
A face thats framed
Deep within
A poets mind
Between two volumes
Kinder times.

Each incandescent
Blue yellow red
Changes in the air
Its silence bled
Each moment tender
Now unfolds
Private thoughts
Never told.

As if my soul
Was held within
The candle grease
Where do I begin
To grasp at smoke
From wick to rise
Unfallen tear
Is still alive.
