- Comment from author about the poem: Having lost two important people this year I have seen evil come out from the woodwork, someone once told me that when we are faced with loss and grief that the worst can be found in others around us but I never believed it until now. I shall always hold my head high and I shall never succom to the ugliness of others especially when it comes to matters of family blood and love. I shall let them swim in their own homemade broth so to speak. It sure is good getting this down on paper. 💜 🌹
