You and I and We.
You’re on my mind from time to time,
And the time is half-past midnight.
I need to show you all of me.
I need you in my life.
If we can’t be, the it’s not just cele vie,
It’s a total and utter tragedy!
For we should be we.
It has to be.
We’ve already waited too long.
I’ll bite my tongue for thinking these words.
The words I know you’ve never heard,
Because I’m the original mute.
You never knew for sure how I felt about you,
But you knew in your heart that there was a spark.
And if you’re madly, deeply, truly,
Then you should say it to me,
Because my response would be positive.
I’d positively agree, that you and I and we should be,
For it’s not a fore-written foretold destiny,
But it should be, I guess,
Because everyone else can see,
When I speak to you more than others,
It’s because of this love game.
For sure I want us to be lovers,
But I need so much more.
I require a metaphorical blood bond.
Sign your name first,
Before I show you the songs that remind me of you,
And when I hear them, they are about you.
I got it bad. I’m stuck like glue,
Because of you.
And if you and I and we ever exist,
There are no other lips I will ever kiss.
