Connection’s life,
connection’s here,
thus, keep it on,
so none, can fear,
as chatting’s good,
chatting’s learning,
healthy room’s -
where ears are burning.
Thus; make it stronger,
beat the storm,
that weakens signal;
tears our norm,
of choosing truths,
and choosing lies,
to write tall tales,
clawing skies,
lest not forget,
the final call,
of what really matters,
before our fall; hence -
we; talking monkeys,
in the wreckage,
need all those bars,
you got the message?

- Comment from author about the poem: Being connected, is both a vital part of being human, but also, has become an addiction in modern life, to be "joined at the hip" with a either a phone, a tablet or a laptop all the time. Like all things human, there is a myriad of choice; and many reasons, in order to stay connected - from - a chinwag with your mates, or providing content to your viewership, in order to try to get a diamond play button award on YouTube. However, when the signal drops, most likely because of "bad weather" and there reads the caption "offline, please check internet connection" or "emergency calls only", humanity is beside itself, as it's lost a "basic right!" So, this imploring poem, goes out to all networkers/internet providers, in order to toughen up on the broadband/phone coverage, to keep us connected, as most likely, an "emergency call" for some, isn't to the police, but to a family member, that they're trying to keep in touch with. Something this important, should not be designed to be so brittle! I hope that you enjoy this poem, and that you've "got the message", and as always, please do stay safe in the madness everyone!
