Crying some tears,
Myself, all alone.
Listening to singers
Of sadness in song.
Now that there's none
To cry left for me
I cried for myself,
Out of old misery.
There are dishes need doing
And a garden to tend,
There's shoes to keep polished
And garments to mend.
But I'll just take a minute
To let it all go,
Then get back to the grind
And forget long ago.
