Tune: St Denio
('Immortal, invisible, God only wise')
Psalm 96
*********
Sing to the Lord a new song, sing all the earth
Sing to the Lord, bless Him, and give Him His worth
Show forth His salvation from day unto day
Declare His wonders, for they awesome alway
Show, tell among the people, for the Lord be
Great, and greatly to be praised and honoured, He
Is to be feared above all gods, for all they
Are idols, but the Lord made the heavens, we say
Honour and majesty before Him do go
Strength and beauty in His sanctuary, we know
Give to the Lord, all you kindreds of people
Glory and strength, worshipping Him above all
Give to the Lord the glory due to His name
Bring offerings, come to His courts, praises frame
O worship the Lord in the beauty holy
Fear, stand in awe of Him, the great God He be
Say among the peoples that the Lord He reigns
The world and all in it He keeps and sustains
He shall judge righteously , let heavens rejoice
Earth, seas, fields, be joyful, praise Him with one voice
For the Lord, He comes to judge the earth, it view
He shall judge the world with righteousness, 'tis true
And too shall judge the people with His truth sure
He the Lord God who lives and reigns evermore

Another great hymn my friend an acknowledgment of power and majesty. Well done
Thank you SB. See the patriotic event here - st Paul's Cathedral, London UK in 2022 for Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Anniversary of 70 years reign.
Most welcome Orchi that's a long reign doesn't the horse step on it?
lol.
Nicely done
Thank you F.
Six full stanzas to St Denio, Orchi...the Methodists fled after three, but Popeyeus stayed for refreshments and now insists he is Bishop of the Glug. The Anglicans blushed, the Baptists bitched, and well, everyone else tuned into WCAT for absolutely no gain at all. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thank you T. Bishop Popeyeus sounds like some 1st Century ancient Bishop! lol. Is he? Well, WCAT won't tell us anything at all. lol.
Good one Orchi.
Thank you Gold.
