No virgin water today all gone away, don't be bewildered it's sewage filtered so they say
You wouldn't drink from another's glass but don't think twice about breathing their used gas
Everyone we follow their used oxygen we swallow before it to another we pass
Think of this, drink someone's piss, share saliva in a kiss, dirty air is still bliss
Shared fleas and disease and the germs of a sneeze, honey vomited by bees
Without a care we share, in wigs other's old hair and other things like these
From a second hand store a blouse, an auctioneer an old house, for some a used spouse to seize

Wot's it all about, mate - Complaint? Everything recycles - even me, who might well include parts of a once distant star...
Yea so right my friend. Just a thought for people squeamish about germs that shiver about drinking from the same glass or a public drinking fountain, ones telling their kids don't put that in your mouth or washing hands too often. Yes everything is recycled we burn plant and dinosaur residue, its the same water that was drunk by the caveman and dogs but its how well it was recycled that makes a difference, how much sand did it run through before it got to us. Just rambling thoughts Dave. Lack of a better subject while the muse is on vacation. Thanks so much for the review and comment.
Well then, that gives those who follow enough material to ponder out their own position.
Take it easy...
Second hand air is horrible, it’s humid and oftentimes moist and also could be texture and scent laden.
Thanks for the read my friend yes when things are not properly filtered of recycled there are problems. Appreciate the comment
There’s a damn gleeful disgust running through this, taking the ordinary fact of shared human life and pushing it into increasingly filthy, funny territory until you can’t look at “clean” the same way again. The rhyme and relentless accumulation are the engine, and that final “used spouse” lands like the punchline to the whole wonderfully gross argument.
Thanks Thomas I appreciate the read and comment. I'm afraid I have offended several with that last line but I'm sticking with it we all feel humans are special and above the rest of nature. I say we are the same.
total recycled life
Thank you Norman I appreciate your take on this piece it is true indeed. Recycled does not mean bad only when one gets it in the process. I often but things from second hand stores being better than new products for less but one needs to beware.
Please !
Be properly recycled before crossing the threshold of the afterlife !
Thank you Lorenz I appreciate the read and that is what they say proper recycling with a little holy water a baptism and last rights as well as confession is necessary otherwise you to the refiners fire for further work.
Ahh, an ideal place for KP to stay on her holidays! heehee. I'm horrible to here. lol.
Thanks Orchi for the read and review. Yes recycling would do us all a bit of good. I don't understand why we try to rush mother nature's process. Let her do her work.
Just about everything is Recycled or used before. As for germs : I always use Wipes, but you can't really avoid them. Unless you want to end-up like Howard Hughes.
You said it so well here .
Thanks Kevin. Nothing against used many times it is better but have a problem with people pretending that things aren't recycled when they are. Everything is recycled at some point and some people are so squeamish about it and germophobic. I appreciate the read my friend
Of course. And my Pleasure to respond.
Hi Sorenbarret,
I love the part about the bees. I've never really thought of air the same but it is true, especially when in crowded room. Sneezes and diseases.
A well written enjoyable read.

Thanks for the read Syd and for your comment it is deeply appreciated
What a poem, Soren. Nothing in life is truly untouched, including us. That is both humbling and slightly disgusting! 😂 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Thanks Tristan for the read and comment. You are right we are all made up of recycled material an atom of Napoleon another of Hitler one of mother Teresa. Some people get creeped out by proximity to entropy. Maybe it reminds them of their own.
We all re-use things in our life soren and in my long life I am still here so all is well.
Andy
Thanks Andy for the read and understanding. So glad that you are still here. Yes I am still here as well and think am about the same age.
disgusting maybe but interesting and evidently true .. Oh' and for what its worth, I suspect I have been completely recycled at least twice before .. N 👍
Thanks so much Neville for the read and comment always found it interesting that people found entropy so vile and you are so right all cells are recycled during a lifetime so we are not the same person leaving as the one that came.
separation and purity are partial illusions; existence is communion, exchange, and continual transformation. Some of us are more fussy than others. Well Done Soren
Thanks so much for the read and comment Gray your words are most appreciated
This is truly revealing. Your poem has a sharp, playful voice that uses humor and discomfort to reveal a deeper truth: we constantly share the world with others, even in ways we rarely think about. The imagery is intentionally provocative, but it works — it reminds the reader that nothing in life is truly “pure” or exclusively ours. It made me think of the many times I travelled and inhaled other people's air, and, for that matter, their gas. It made me chuckle at the end. Thanks for sharing it.
Thank you Rodriguez I appreciate your review and understanding of the piece. Yes I too thought about how all things are recycled eventually. Also how nothing belongs to us brought to mind when property taxes came in being charged for what we already purchased and it became evident that we own nothing we only lease it from government or whoever.
A darkly humorous meditation on the strange contradictions of purity, consumption, and the things we casually share without a second thought.
Thanks again Soheil yes it is strange the things we share without thinking and those we refuse with repulsion. After all everything is recycled even us. Your words are most appreciated
Your words are equally appreciated, my friend. It is always a pleasure to read your poems.
